The Cardiothoracic Anaesthesia Partnership (CAP) is excited to present its May 2023 meeting: Cardiac disease in pregnancy. This is the first year that we have featured a meeting dedicated to pregnancy and heart disease but we have worked hard to put together a fantastic lineup of expert speakers from across the UK, and the meeting is approved for 3 RCoA CPD Points.
The meeting location is currently tbc.

CAP is a collaborative project started at Barts Heart Centre in 2021 that provides free, monthly, multidisciplinary, multi-centre, advanced cardiothoracic anaesthesia education. It is aimed at peri- and post-CCT anaesthetists/intensivists but our sessions have been well received by anaesthetists of all grades, as well as surgeons and cardiologists.

Our monthly meetings are held in person (for the Obstetric meeting only in May, the meeting will be held in the Nosworthy Lecture theatre, Anaesthetic Dept, 1st floor, Lambeth Wing, St Thomas’ Hospital, London) and online on MS Teams (link below).
