APAGBI Paediatric Anaesthesia Tutorial Series: 7th and 19th July 2021, 5-6 pm

Are you interested in a career in paediatric anaesthesia and want more subspecialty training?

Did you have your paediatric training curtailed by COVID?

Are you required to manage difficult paediatric problems infrequently in a district general hospital?

Then this tutorial series is for you…

The APAGBI is hosting an online tutorial series on specialty paediatric anaesthesia open to trainees, fellows, specialty doctors and consultant anaesthetists who care for children. We hope to inspire a new generation of paediatric anaesthetists and supplement learning for all those who have had their training experience limited by the pandemic. All tutorials will be FREE to access, delivered by an expert speaker and followed by a 10-15 minute live Q&A session.

    Programme

    7th July 5-6 pm

Anaesthesia for the child with Congenital Heart Disease

Dr. Claire Barker, Consultant in Congenital Cardiac Anaesthesia. Freeman Hospital, Newcastle upon Tyne NHS Trust, Newcastle.

    19th July 5-6 pm

Dr. Arnie Choi, Consultant Paediatric Anaesthetist. Children’s Hospital, John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford University Hospital NHS Trust, Oxford.

    Reasons to attend:

    1. Excellent internationally recognised speakers with the opportunity to your direct your questions via a live Q&A session
    2. Top quality online event that is free access for all.
    3. Review the teaching material afterwards on the APA website.

We hope that you will be able to join us for this excellent programme in July. These two tutorials will form part of a wider ten part series delivered monthly from September 2021 to May 2022.

Please be sure to share this reminder with your colleagues too: the more, the merrier!
