1. National Research fellow to the National Emergency Laparotomy Audit (http://www.nela.org.uk)
2. Trainee lead to the second Sprint National Anaesthesia Project (SNAP-2 - EPIdemiology of Critical Care after Surgery - EPICCS)
3. Research fellow to the new National Peri-operative Quality Improvement Programme

These posts are available for candidates to start as soon as possible between August 2015 and February 2016; appointments will be made for 1 or 2 years in the first instance with the possibility of extending to 2 or 3 years and MD(res) or PhD study if the candidates and supervisors are happy.
