Personal biography and interests
I grew up in the rural North East of England and moved to London for University where I studied at UCL. I spent my Foundation Training on the South Coast working in Chichester and Brighton. I took an FY3 and moved abroad working in both the Cook Islands and New Zealand. When I returned to the UK I began training in Emergency Medicine with a fellow role at Kings College Hospital followed by ACCS Emergency Medicine training at the Whittington, UCLH and the Homerton. By the end of ST3 it was clear to me that I wanted to pursue a career in Anaesthetics and I am very happy to be in the Central London School of Anaesthesia on the bottom rung of a ladder going in the right direction. My work interests so far include education and I have a PGCert in Simulation. I am also passionate about wellbeing and I have been a junior doctor and well-being rep several times.I am currently a first year Core Anaesthetics trainee at The Royal Free Hospital and your Stage One Rep.
