Imperial School of Anaesthesia
Four advanced training opportunities will be offered by the Imperial School of Anaesthesia, for a period of up to 15 months commencing November 2010.
These posts are intended to meet the competencies for advanced training in pain medicine as outlined in the Royal College of Anaesthetists document “The CCT in Anaesthesia. Part IV section 11. The posts are thus intended for trainees intending to apply for Consultant Anaesthetist posts with a commitment to pain medicine
The institutions at which these posts are based have been confirmed by the Royal College of Anaesthetists Regional Adviser as meeting the criteria for providing advanced training in pain medicine
Post A: Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.

Year 5 SpRs should discuss with from their Programme Director whether sufficient training time is available to them to complete a 15 month advanced training post, starting August 2009, before making an application.
