The Centre for Anaesthesia is holding a special Summer meeting with drinks reception and canapes on Friday 16 July 2010 from 6.30-9pm. We are delighted to have the three most recent past Presidents of the Royal College of Anaesthetists as our guest speakers. Dr Judith Hulf CBE will be delivering a lecture on ‘The future of anaesthesia in the NHS, research and education’. Sir Peter Simpson will respond to her thoughts on anaesthesia in service provision, and Professor Peter Hutton will respond on anaesthesia in research and education. It will be a fascinating evening, with a drinks reception and canapes, all in the beautiful surroundings of the Old Refectory, Flaxman Gallery and Portico of University College London. The lectures will begin at approximately 7pm.
The cost is £35 for consultants and £25 for trainees / allied health professionals, and includes all drinks and nibbles. The meeting has been awarded 2 CPD points by the RCoA.
