Candidates are invited to apply for the above post. This is a unique and exciting post aimed at senior trainees / post-CCT doctors in anaesthesia. The objective of the post is to develop peri-operative research in a leading vascular academic unit in London. The candidate will lead and develop research projects under supervision of the Vascular anaesthesia team.
We are offering 1 year fixed term contracts with a start date of Wednesday 1 February 2018, which could be extended if required.

Clinical duties will be based at the St John and Elizabeth Private hospital, with a 1:5 rotation providing 24h cover for level 2, 3 bedded HDU. The rest of the time will be devoted to undertaking research and quality improvement work at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust.

All applicants must be eligible for full GMC registration. We welcome applicants with a background in anaesthesia who have achieved competences and qualifications equivalent to the beginning of the ST5 training year (i.e. post-FRCA). UK based trainees seeking out of programme experience would be encouraged to seek prospective approval for Out of Programme Training from the RCoA. Previous critical care experience is essential for this post.
